Modern business leader
A business leader is the person who guides and inspires a company's employees towards a common business goal. He/she is mostly in a powerful position (CEO, Founder...) and uses the requisite powers to direct and manage the activities within the business to ensure that business goals are met.

The business leader's role is indeed vital during the course of business and hence the above qualities are crucial.
But it has primary significance for bringing about organizational change and maintaining its flexibility to ensure the achievement of its vision and mission in a dynamic environment. This is the demand of modern business and the qualities of leaders must be honed accordingly.
So what are these primary qualities of contemporary business leaders?
4 qualities called 4 Cs form such a modern leader; referred to as "Iconoclastic leaders":-
1. They are motivated by innate conviction which arises from a strong personal belief in an idea or concept. “These stories begin with one
person saying I absolutely believe in this and I want this to happen.”
—Professor Lynda Gratton, London Business School.
2. They possess the courage to change practices or policies in ways that appear too risky to the involved stakeholders.
3. They have the commitment and tenacity to stay on with an idea despite obstacles and problem solving attitude.
4. They are contrarian and hence, find it possible to have a different view. Also, they thrive on being constructively contrary as it opens them to bold ideas or concepts and lowers hesitation.
Be it major growth initiatives, diversification or adoption of profitable sustainability practices; the 4Cs are now considered essential in a modern business leader along with conventional leadership qualities...
